The Hunter region comprises Lower Hunter, Upper Hunter and MidCoast. The Local Government Areas (LGA’s) for each are summarised below. The Hunter Regional Plan 2036 provides a narrative for each LGA identifying regional priorities and growth projections for housing, employment and dwellings.
