Across the North District, growth will be focused on achieving three initiatives including supplying
housing and infrastructure in the right locations, providing new employment opportunities to
underpin growth and improving communities and environment. Looking ahead, the government
plans to concentrate growth in Strategic Centres throughout the district and along major transport
infrastructure.
